Yaupon Holly from seed?

Does anyone have experience with growing these from seed?

I was at the hospital all day with my aunt and, when I was leaving I noticed all these beautiful berries and just had to have some. So now, I have a bowl full of the beautiful red plump berries and don't know what to do with them.LOL. Do I clean them well and winter sow, or do them like tomatoes and let them ferment for a few days first. When I squeezed a berry it had 4 seeds covered in pulp. Any advice? These seeds are the same color as the candied cherries in the jar. I want them to grow in my yard. :o)
