TO THE ''Been There,Done That'' ORCHID growers...

Can you, PLEASE give me the recomended 'kindergaren level' types of Orchids for first time growers to attempt, with a somewhat high level of hope for success?

Are there variettes that can be grown outdoors in central florida? .... Light is a major issue in my home. I have virtully no ambient light. ( as in very few windows, and the ones I have are small )

SOOOOOO, I Have come to terms with the fact that I WILL need some sort of lighted grow station....ANY SUGGESTIONS?

FOR my (2, Den. phal.Baby Pink, and Hollywood and 1, Oncidium Sharry Baby,) will I need a gravel tray with water for humidity? How about watering them?

I bought a few HOW-TO-GROW-ORCHIDS books on ebay, but they wont be here till early next year...lol
