Any feedback from you query? I'm about to purchase one and would love any guidance you can give me. Where can i get one for a great price? Any disappointments with this range over the electrolux model? Suggestions for a compatible hood fan? Thank you!!

I've never had an induction range - but I did purchase the GE Profile Induction cooktop when I remodeled my kitchen a few years ago. I LOVE the induction cooktop - the GE Cooktop works like a dream and was sooooo worth the extra money it costs.

If you buy the range I would love to hear what you think about it. We had to move from my wonderful kitchen and I have a gas range in my house now - I'm taking the time to evaluate whether I like gas enough to keep or if I need to replace it with an induction range like above - gas DOES NOT BOIL WATER AS FAST AS Induction - regardless of what other people tell you - it takes forever even on the powerboost burner.

Oh and you'll need to do what I did - pick up a magnet in the kitchen section and test all the pots you plan to use on the stove - they must be magnetic otherwise they won't work. I gave all my disqualified pots to my mom. I've found that Non-stick is usually a no-go on this stove unless you get the ones with the extra metal "plate" at the bottom.

Hi jrjennings, are you looking for a freestanding range, or built-in model?
