Ok well I may answer my own question here but just want to make sure I'm answering it right. I've noticed lately my broccoli plants (still indoors under lights) have developed a grey sheen to their leaves. For some reason I thought this was normal until I got a good look at them last night next to the very green pepper leaves and thought, that can't be right. I think I've been blinded to this being a problem because they are growing very well. I'm guessing it's probably a nutrient deficiency of some sort. The seeds were started in the germinating mix that gardeners.com sells and when I potted them up the first time I just continued to use the germinating mix (note I've since started potting up my other veggies using a potting mix). They did send me some fertilizer with the germinating mix (plant health care for seedlings), I'm guessing maybe I need to start using this on the plants? They are all just developing their 4th true leaf so I think they are far enough along to be fertilizing.

Please let me know if you think this is my problem. I think a couple of my peppers got transplanted into the germinating mix as well, is it ok to use it on them if they only have two true leaves?
