The decorator who has designed our bathroom has chosen to run dark granite colored tiles along the floor, along the front of the bathtub, and on the wall behind the bathtub (in a logical line as the eye moves along the room).The rest of the bathroom is an off-white tile that complements the dark one. This looked great on paper. As the tiler has been working (he has finished the back wall and is half way down the front of the tub) It just looks too dark! Dare I say that the bathtub looks almost macabre!! I don't think I could take the floor so dark as well. Can I break up all this blackness by tiling the bathtub off white ? or even the floor as well?Will one dark wall look dumb?
