If you ask your workroom to use a thick interlining (in England they use a soft cloth called "bump"), then you can use the face fabric you want and a neutral lining on the back, with the interlining sandwiched between. This will give you extra insulation. If you use an outside mount (covering the window frame completely, you'll have even better insulation than if you had an inside mount.
