My friend Marlene has this growing in her back yard. She says the pods look like okra in the summer before they turn to what I have in the picture. She said the flowers are almost like tendrils, hard to describe, red. Blooms late spring, early summer. The tree itself is tall and leggy, never been pruned. It throws off baby trees around it's roots. Can ANYONE tell from the leaf picture what it might be???? She lives in upstate SC.
