That is so cool. I've never seen a baby toad before. Good luck on repopulating your yard! I love my toads.

Good for you for giving them a habitat in which to breed! Do you have a pond or bog garden or just a lush garden?

I spotted a toad in my pea patch yesterday. He must have been one of the original 4 because he was 3 or 4 times bigger than before (I'm psyched!). There is a small natural pond two blocks away and I have a very small, tiny pond for my goldfish. If the toads breed in my pond I'll keep the goldfish out until the tadpoles become toads and hop away.

For some reason baby toads are abundant naturally in my yard this year. I keep carefully transporting them, from where I find them, into my veggie and flower patches.
Two years ago, it was tree frogs. Couldn't walk near bushes without one jumping and clinging to you with those cute little sucker pads..

LOL-who do I call for a toad delivery?

When I was a kid, we used to bring home buckets of water from a nearby wetland and in a short time, the backyard would be hopping with baby toads. I would love to see that again in my current yard.
