I've only used all gas, and really liked them. Anyone else?

When you get to the showroom page go to the events tab to find the next product demonstration. Also - in helping you to make your decision, some factors to consider: the gas range has one convection fan, while the dual fuel has 2, so you get extremely even cooking/baking in the dual fuel. In our demonstration - the chef puts 4 racks of cookies and then bake perfectly evenly without having to rotate pans. The double convection fans also help in cooking food about 25% faster than without convection. The dual fuel also has 10 cooking modes, including bake stone mode for pizza and dehydration mode to dry out herbs or fruits/vegetables. The dual fuel is also self-cleaning, while the gas is not. The burners and knobs are also different, so it can also depend on your aesthetic taste. Again, the best thing to do is visit a showroom, so you can have all the information you need before deciding. Are you more of a baker or more of a roaster? I was told by people who are serious cooks (when we were deciding on the same question) that the dual fuel is better for baking (breads, cookies, pies, etc.) and the gas oven is better for roasting meats, etc.

I am an all around cook with a family of 5 kids- hence the large stove! Thank you for the input- it sounds like I need to spend more time talking to my dealer!

Hmm. With five kids I might go for the dual fuel just for the self-cleaning feature.
