For me this is least satisfying spot in an otherwise stellar clubhouse. There are a couple of things that are throwing me off: I feel like the plastic sleeves over the papers (house rules?) are jarring--what about a wall-hung clipboard instead?
Also, there's a lot going on on the wall above and to the left of the desk: big clock, outlets, paper--to me it detracts from my enjoyment of the fir desk and the typewriter. What would happen if you put a small cabinet there? Open at the back so you can reach the switches, but with a door so the visual clutter is screened from view?
Also that chair makes me feel sad.
Everything else in this space is so fantastic that I want this initial spot to feel just as good.
