I don't know if this will work with nicolock, but I cast some things in concrete & they developed this white, chalk-like efflorescence.

I got rid of it by pouring a little Hydrochloric (Muriatic) acid on it & then flushing it off with lots of water. BUT I was very careful!!! Muriatic acid gives of horrible, corrosive fumes and if you get it on your skin, it'll eat into & dissolve your flesh. It'll also - if the concrete has a smooth surface - eat into the concrete & roughen the surface.

From everything I have read about this, it will dissipate. The experts say not to waste your money on products to remove it, because it just removes it from the surface and will reappear. It should be gone in 3 months. This is why you should wait a year until you put any sealer on the pavers.
