Is ceiling molding out of style?

14 years ago
I am redoing a living room similar to this one and had planned on 4 inch molding for the ceiling. Walls are dark and molding would be white. Good or bad?

    This is a very contemporary version of a coffered ceiling, hence no mouldings. If your house is more classic, then you'd need mouldings.
