I'm not in Texas but I am in Alabama on the border of zone 7B/8A. We have similar weather. In fact, you get our weather first. Like all products you will find there are differences between brands but I bought the SunTuf brand corrugated, single thickness by Palram. It is guaranteed for 10 years. It has held up well for 10 1/2 years in conditions of hail, 100 degree temps and tornadic winds. It has an outside and inside surface. You must be careful to turn the correct sight to the sun. I've never had a split or rip. I bought another brand when I added on to the greenhouse about 5 years ago it it needs replacing. I hope to replace the entire glazing this year. If I can't, it will still last another season or two. I'll definitely buy the SunTuf brand, plus you can buy a ridge cap from SunTuf to cover the roof ridge. The other brand doesn't have it and the SunTuf profile is different so it doesn't fit.
