My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I am getting into the drying of fruits and need advice on the most economical and effective food dehydrating equipment. I live in Northern VA. Anyone have experience with driers?
Food drying is one of the oldest methods of preserving food. With dehydrators, it becomes easy to dry fruits and preserve it year long. Dried foods are good sources of quick energy and wholesome nutrition.
Best bet is to find a dehydrator for sale at a rummage sale, estate sale, Goodwill, etc. SO much cheaper than buying a new one. We dry a lot of stuff, drying some apple slices right now.
