I live in an area of clay soils. I recently established a deep (2 feet) raised bed for a vegetable garden and used the existing soil with compost, composted manure, and gypsum as amendments. The bed is approximately 8'x7' (135 cubic feet). I added approximately 24 cubic feet of compost (about 18% of total bed volume). Did I add enough? Should I have done anything different?
