Transplant Shock

I had repotted some seedlings indoors; left the pots indoors for a couple of days. The plants seemed to be doing fine, until I moved them outdoors into full sun. Now, some of the plants seem to be wilting and some just hitting the ground. So, I watered them and some of them sprung back up. What can I do to save them? I mean, am I not doing something right? (I'm growing brussel sprouts and watermelons to help clear any advice.)

Hi Greenthumbs grower,
Seedlings are very tender especially grown in indoors. You can not just put them directly into full sun from indoors. What I do is first day I keep them out side in the shade for couple of hours and gradually increase the time day by day, after a week or so I keep in the sun for short time (about couple of hours) when the sun in not too hot. All to gether I take 2 weeks before I put them in full sun all day, by this time they will be used to the wind and become hard for the sun.
