This plant started blooming a few days ago and we have no idea what it is.

It looks like it could be a flowering plant or a weed.

Definitely not a weed that's native to Oklahoma. It looks like an improved cultivar but right now I can't say what with certainty. Someone will know. Lisa? Dawn? To me it looks like a delphinium on steroids.

dbarron is correct, aconitum :).
I've never heard of it before but it is growing like a weed( pun intended)

carmichaelii Wilsonii is the species(?)
