Property line barrier--Help!

My husband and I are in desperate need of a privacy barrier between our home and the new neighbors that just moved in. The problem is, we cannot dig along the property line or near it because of electrical cables running in the ground along that side of our house. Does anyone have any suggestions for barriers without digging???

No digging? Could be tough. How far from the property line can you dig?

You shouldn't plant ON the property line but far enough away so that the outer edges of your plants don't go over the property line, once the plants are mature. Depending upon what you choose, that may be several feet from the line.

Does that give you enough room?

Hi,
If you are worried about the underground cabling while digging for your boundary wall , do not worry. Just construct a wall on the surface. Put t shaped bolts attached to the wall with iron wires.
