Tried new bug spray

Monterey Garden Insect Spray. Contains spinosads...from fermentation of a bacteria. It is supposed to act on the insects nervous system...man I hope it's painful too. Anyway, maybe some of you have tried it or another product with this ingredient. If so, what were your results?

I was on my last nerve with the thrips. I was ready to try anything. I called and spoke with a guy from an insectary hoping to get a beneficial to help out. He suggested that I use this spray. Mix 3 tsp. of sugar per pint with the mixture. The sugar will attract the thrips or other soft-bodied insect. They eat the mixture and that's that...supposedly.

I sprayed last night and first inspection today showed promising results. I was unable to spot a single thrip on any of their favorites. I apply again in 7 days since there is a life cycle to content with. But so far it is looking good. Hope I didn't brag too soon! J
