Stihl MS260 vs. MS260 Pro?

I'm in the market for a new second saw. I already have a big saw, and need one for limbing, and small felling/bucking. I'm a huge Stihl fan, and am hooked on the ms260. Other than price and a decompression valve, I can't find any major differenced between the 260 and 260 Pro. I've held them both at the same time, just don't see the reason for the $50 to $100 dollar difference. I've asked around and a dealer claimed that the 260Pro has a magnesium cylinder.... but wouldn't the weight be different?.. Both weigh 10.6lbs. Same power, same recomended bar lengths, seems to be the same saw... anyone have any info please reply... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dunno. The Pro is the only model available here.

Here's a quote from the Stihl website re the MS260 Pro:

"An added decompression valve for easier starts, and an adjustable automatic bar and chain oiler for firewood cutting is what puts the "pro" in this professional chain saw."

My local dealer website shows a $40 difference in the two saws. ($470 vs $510 with 16" bar).

Both the 260 and 260 Pro are listed in the group of "Professional Use" saws.

turnage is correct.

Only difference is the decomp valve and the adjustable oiler on the Pro version. Decomp is really not necessary on the 260, at least I have never needed it on mine. I have only adjusted the oiler a few times. IIRC, the fixed oiler actually puts out slightly more oil than the adjustable does at full output.
