You might want to put a carb kit in it, those rubber diaphrams get stiff when they get old which could prevent it from pumping. Also check the gas line hose, impulse line and the boot between the carb and cylinder for any cracks. Don't forget to check the line inside the tank and put on a new filter. Steve
