I have liked my no-spill can. It has worked well over the last 2 years. Probably about 5-10 gallons/year through it.

If you prefer metal, Blitz cans are well liked.

I will second the recommendation of masiman. I bought a No-spill can last season, and I have really liked it. My decision to purchase it was based mainly in having an under-seat gas tank that I needed to fill on my lawn tractor. It was almost impossible to fill that tank without spilling gasoline, sometimes a considerable amount.

With the No-spill can, I literally do fill it without spilling a drop. I am very satisfied with the No-spill. I paid between $20 and $25 for it at a local small engine shop.
