Since you plan to heat your new greenhouse, one consideration is the heating cost. The hfgh, with twin wall polycarbonate panels, uses about 50% less heat than a similar sized single-layer polyethylene hoop house.

The main consideration is how much space do you need. If it's bigger than a hfgh, then get a hoophouse. Also if you double or triple layer the poly it's much more efficient. I would n't even try to heat a single layer poly in the winter in our zone 5, unless you're independently wealthy...
