Excell Pressure Washer

I have an new Excell 2800 pressure washer. I use this and have a problem when using a certain opening. It works fine except when I use the 40 degree nozzle. It will work for a minute or two, then I loose pressure. If I pause for just a minute it will come back at full pressure. When using any other tips I do not have any problem.

Is the pump defective or is it cavitating?
