I have one that uses a 20lb LP tank. I think i ordered it from Harbor Freight. I used it to kill out some Poison Ivy. Had to wear long sleeves and a mask, but so far it hasn't grown back.Been 2 years. The one i have is around 100k BTU, so it gets plenty hot.

He is talking about a line trimmer with a 4 stroke propane fired engine. It is a gimmick but like most gimmicks there will be a market. With the weight of the bottle it must be poorly balanced. There will also be a 10% loss of power with a corresponding increase in fuel consumption, that is the way with propane as a motor fuel. Plus it's gonna stink.

Liquified petroleum gas does burn cleaner than gasoline. And a person would not have to worry about gas additives, draining fuel at end of season, fuel line and carburator problems, etc. Should be pretty much maintenence free.
