Sounds like a bunch of poo. "Roundup Ready", as I understand the term, applies to seed/plants that have been genetically modified so the plant will not be killed with Roundup. Farmers can spray Roundup to kill the weeds and it won't harm the plant. That's what an old beet farmer from Michigan told me.

I have kept Roundup mixed up in the same pump sprayer for about 15 years and have never replaced any of the sprayer parts.

just another marketing gimmick. RU will clog up electric sprayers if you don't clean it every now and then, but never had a problem with a pump sprayer. if you let all teh water evaporate out of the tank, RU becomes real gummy. let this happen inside a pump motor and it is a pain to clean up!

i simply rinse my electric sprayer out with a couple tanks of water once a month or so, but my pump sprayers get nothing done but once a year vaseline on the o-rings.
