welcome to GW, if i havent said so before ....

where are you ????

ken

I love swaps. Of all the places I visit, they are always among my favorites. The first one I can remember visiting was Great Swap NWR, and I've really appreciated the diversity found in swamps ever since.

Nice pics!...there is a haunting beauty about them. I'm waiting for something to creep out of the waters.

I live in Mississippi, very beautiful place if you like these kind of areas.

Haunting beauty is a good description, there is an eeri peacfulness in a swamp.

Ken, I know what your sayin. I lived in Wixom for several years. Just a cold, distant memory now.

63 degrees here today!

Now is your time to brag about the temp...then its our turn this summer, lol.

" I'm waiting for something to creep out of the waters"

Should be safe enough at the moment, the 'gators will be hibernating.

Your right whaas, I'd better relish it while I can. In a few months we'll be beggin for 63 down here.

The gators may be hibernating, but not swamp thing.
