Creaftsman 40 cc chainsaw

I have a craftsman 18' 40cc chainsaw that is only about a year old.

I haden't run it for awhile then the other day I cranked it up & a large amount of oil came out the bottom.I then took it apart & cleaned the guide bar making sure all the the channels were clear. There is a thin metal plate where the oil enters the saw from the oil tank.I remover this & cleaned as best I could.I didn't mess with any of the tubes or anything.

I was just wondering if there is any way to control the oil flow or is it possible that some of the tubes under the thin metal plate could have become disconnected?

Any info is appreciated
