Troybilt tiller
What happened to Troybilt. I've owned one for 20 yrs or so
and used to call a 800 number and get any advice, parts, etc. Tried to call and went thru 3 different numbers and
finally was told to find a dealer and ask them. Anyone
want to help (are you old)
Found a Troybilt Horse but not like any I've seen.
Only number was a TH 1019 stamped on bottom of handle
bar where attaches to transmission.
Tiller has a 6 HP Tecumseh flat head engine.
Uses two belts to connect engine to transmission.
Belts cannot be changed to vary speed like mine.
No means for reverse (rubber disc missing) but decal
on tiller shows to lift clutch handle for reverse.
Need a model number to try and get some seals, and
other parts. Also would like to know if pulleys can
be changed on engine and transmission to a single
belt with variable speed and add the reverse wheel
and clutch. Any help welcomed as MTD who apparently
now owns Troybilt only passes me off to someonelse
who knows nothing.
