It's not my money, but if I had minimal trimming requirements I'd just get a corded electric for about 1/3 of the price. Of course, I'd rather put up with the hassle of a cord rather than the hassle and expense of recharging and replacing batteries. Most of the electrics, whether rechargable or corded, use a single strand of .065" cutting line, so their performance is marginal regardless of the power source.
