I just picked up a used Homelite K-300 trimmer at a garage sale and wondered if anyone knew the proper fuel mixture. It is not stamped on the cap, and I have looked for a manual on homelite's website and all over the internet to no avail. I think someone else has the same problem as well, since there are several unanswered posts on other sites, but gardenweb usually has the answers to my questions. It is a 25cc engine...I would assume 40:1 or 50:1, but would like to know for sure. I sent an e-mail to Homelite, but figured with the holidays I would not hear back for like a week.
