I bought an 18" Poulan Pro at Lowes a couple of years ago that has worked well for me. I paid around $169.00 for it. I don't think it would be a saw to run all day everyday, but trimming and cutting up a downed tree once in awhile works for me. Maintenance and proper fuel/oil mix is the key.

thanks does anyone have an opinion on the Craftsman 40CC or the 42CC. I was at my local Sears last night and they are closing out the current models with some nice specials

I'm pretty sure Poulan makes chainsaws for Sears.They are just a different color.
