Can anyone with a Generac 4000EXL take a look at the throttle linkage and spring and let me know how its connected?

Take a look at the picture in the link.

Running fine but I thought it was in the other hole when I took it apart.

It doesn't run correctly in the other hole. (surges under load)

I'm wondering if something changed when I did the LP conversion...
