You also have to keep the distinction between manufactured, assembled etc. Even "manufactured" allows a certain percentage of foreign parts. I think that if it's a NAFTA country, they can use an even higher percent and still say manufactured in the USA.

Didn't the Rolla Mo. plant close???? and I think they moved to mexico. I guessing I don't think any briggs engines are made in usa. Some of Kaw small gas engines made in Maryville mo. though. So if you want a real american made engine you might reserach Kaw. engines
