I grow about a 100 species of roses..and a number of Austins..Have found Braithwaite Heritage and G Thomas to be more tender than most. G Thomas appears to have made it on the second go. Will likely try Heritage again with a modified method as the first 2 years are critical. Mary Rose, Win Cathedral, Shakespear, Constance Spry, Sharif, G Jekyl, Mayflower, A Darby, Othello and more do fine here with a very little help once established.
