Hi,
I am brooding 12 chicks. Each time I clean the brooder, there is manure, chick starter (medicated), and pine shavings in the mix. The medicated starter contains a thiamine analog, which makes the parasites die from thiamine deficiency. It's not an antibiotic like terramyacin.
Anyway, I don't know if this would be best composted or if I could just scatter it under some straw mulch in the flower garden. I guess I'm inclined to put it in the flower garden rather than the veggie garden (compost)?
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Michelle
