looking for some advice.

i have a stihl string trimmer. i've been using it to do the lawn edging. this requires holding the trimmer in an upright vertical position. everytime i do this, the motor wants to and does die. i have to keep throttling to keep it from dying, not always successful. i filled the gas tank up full and it didn't help.

any thoughts?
