Some years back I made a couple of cold frames, then converted one to a hot bed by adding electric cable. I ended up just buying some online. The closest I could come up with locally was "heat trace" cable at the local Electrical Supply house. I didn't go very far with the heat race due to time so don't know if it would have been viable.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I've noticed the 2 wire self limiting cable elsewhere but your brand name mention has led to a lower cost source of 2 wire self limiting product.

Still seeking the 1 wire product.
