Check the gas tank to make sure it was filled with mix.

Check for a jam at the starter and clutch end.

What trimmer is it. Is the pull rope between the main shaft and the engine or at the back of the trimmer?

If it is at the back of the trimmer, it should be easy to remove the pull start unit. Remove the pull start and test the pull start whether it is stuck.

If it is between the engine and the shaft, yes you might want to buy a new one!!! Because it is a cheap trimmer and it is very hard to work on even is the pull starter problem and is not worthy to work on or pay to have it fix.

Sorry, I read that you have the Husky 326. You have the starter at the back. It is very easy to remove. Might have to take off the cover, but the starter is only attach by 4 screw. Remove the starter and check the starter whether it is jam first.

Then while you have remove the cover, see whether you can reach the flywheel at the front....the round one with fins. If you can reach it, try turn it and see whether it is free. If not......time for a new one.

You sure you put oil in the mix?
