Just a little more info...

I did not let the blower run out of fuel. I know this would probably let n some dust junk into the carb. I never let a take go past 75% empty.

I read some more and the only other thing I touched was the gas cap when refilling. Something might have happened to the cap and it got clogged?? What would I look for on the gas cap for it to be blocked??

Does your unit have a spark arrestor screen in the muffler? If it does, it's usually found on the outside as the last thing the exhaust flows through. You can heat them cherry red and clean them with a brush.

Be careful though ! If they slip out of your hand, they are easily lost in the leaves.

If the cap is clogged loosening it while running will let you know if that's the problem.

Check the fuel filter on the end of the gas pickup in the tank(if their is one) and see if it's clogged.

I would also check all fuel lines to see if their is a kink or if somethings loose.

Make sure the choke is operating properly.

A homelite hand held blower I had kept vibrating the bolts holding the manifold to the engine block loose. I retightened with loktite & new lock washers a few times until the bolts broke. I eventually tossed it.

Put a healthy dose of Sea Foam in the gas & run it
