Does that have a brass float with a bendable tab to set float height?

IF you shake the float, does fuel slosh around inside?

It does have the brass float...but checked for fuel in the float and didn't hear any. Thanks for the response.

So I pulled the carb apart again, after reading some other posts. I do not see a seat where the needle goes. Should this look like and o-ring? There does appear to be a sleeve of some sort pressed into the housing. Witht he float flipped over it still seems to seal...when I blow into the fuel supply. Should I adjust the float level? With the float upside down it is not parallel with the seal surface..its at about 10 degs. Would it hurt to adjust to say 30deg?

You might try clamping off the fuel line with a vise grips & rag.
See if the engine runs "good" for a few seconds before it runs out of gas. That would indicate the carb is getting too full.

With the carb flipped over raise the elevation of the float (up)...I did just get done trying about 20 or 30 deg upward...no luck starting but not leaking as bad. I am sure the needle valve is seating. I tried shutting the fuel off at the tank but still no luck. Keep the ideas rolling! thanks
