You can use Hydrawise without the subscription plan. Do you need the plan?

Anybody have a follow up on this? I have a cyber rain but it is finicky on its best day and seems to get worse as time goes by. Was leaning toward Hydrawise but haven't made up my mind

Hydrawise is WaterSense approved for those customers in the US, you may get a rebate. The systems does all of the smart stuff without a subscription, you only need it if you want alerts or to access more than 1 weather station as they incur costs. You can have a flow meter and a rainsensor and can have alerts for flow and electrical problems.
