John Deere 1032 reverse isn't working properly

While snowblowing 5 inches of snow with my JD3210 it started to have a problem with reverse and drive working as it should. (Seemed to be slipping somewhat) I tried adjusting the drive pully for better contact following the directions in the owners manual. After adjustment when put in gear it crept forward or backward so I let off on the adjuster somewhat. It still doesn't go forward or backward as well as it used to (about a 5 year old machine) as I can stop it by putting my hip into it. Is there some other adjustment that I need to make to get it to work properly or do I need to replace the rubber pully due to wear? Thanks
