Have you looked at the disc? I replaced one on an MTD a few weeks ago, Mice got into the guys garage and chewed on the disc. Patrick

I saw the disc and the rubber is still on it. That is the part that the adjustment moves. I just wasn't sure if there was another place that I was supposed to adjust or if I had maybe adjusted it too much. The problem is that at one end of the adjustment there is creep in the blower but by only moving the adjuster a couple half turns it will hardly move. Any suggestions???

O.K., here's what it is, when you push down on the lever to make it drive, the rubber disc goes up against that round, smooth disc. IF you would have over adjusted, say, make it real snug on the metal disc, then you would do one of two things, snap a cable, or, if this is a metal rod you adjust, the lever would be hard to push down, tell you what,m email me the model and serial number. use my other email psmsmallengines@hotmail.com and I can take a look at what youve got on there.
