We received our Shindaiwa T242 we ordered from Amricks. Fast service. The weedeater arrived and my husband had to put the head and guard on the body. Luckily we have other Shindaiwa weedeaters. or he says he may not have figured out how to put it together, he said the directions were not user friendly. He took the weeater out on Monday and figured he would use it one tanks worth, which is usually one hour. He says he feels he worked(he did not time it) well over an hour. The weedeater is very fuel efficient. The head was already strung with string. He says he will probably replace the guard, as it is heavy(large) and only allows six inch of string, his other guards allow 7 inch of string.
