the left side is the fixed side. by that I mean when you initially install the head, you tighten it onto its fitting and align the nozzle pointing it to where you want it to stop when it rotates to the left. Once you have the left set, then you can adjust with the screw driver to the point at which you want it to stop at the right side of its arc. be sure to manually rotate the pop up shaft to its full left position before installing and making further adjustments.

ou can readjust the left hand stop. That is if you have not stripped out the gears.
Here is how it is done:
Rotate to the left hand original stop position.
Now rotate it all the way right to the right hand stop position.
Now rotate it back toward the left hand original stop and go past the left hand stop to where you want to reset the stop position. You may have to force it past the original left hand stop but that will not hurt it.
Now from the new reset left hand position, turn it slightly toward the right.
Now insert your adjustment tool and readjust the right hand position either minus or plus.
After you have reset the right hand stop rotate back to the new left hand stop.

Check to make sure the new adjustments are correct and where you want them.

If you have stripped out the gear you can not adjust either left hand or right hand stop positions. It will usually divert back to 360 degrees or full circle.

Tom, Should the water be on or off? My arc is nearly 300. I want to reduce it back to 180. Both my left & rt ends are too far. So am I still point out to the 300 arc & then using the screw to the "-" sign. I tried that & it seems like it has now went to 320.
