Ariens 1128 Won't Start

Hi All,

I'm not small engine savvy and need a tip ;-)

My 1128 was ran maybe twice last year, and at the beginning of the season had a full tune up and carburetor cleaning. At the end of the season I ran the fuel dry.

This year, it won't start. I notice that the spark plug works, but after much priming and pulling, the plug is bone dry. Putting fuel right in the cylinder allows the machine to easily start though it dies right away.

I have the fuel shut-off in the ON position and have verified that its flowing.

Any idea why my fuel won't get to the spark plug? Do I need to again have the carb fully cleaned? Can't see it getting that bunged that soon ;-)

Thanks

Pete
