Now we need a wired driveway alert, that only detects metal objects(vehicles). Our driveway is 1/2 mile long and years ago we put one in about 250 feet from the house. It kept going off from deer, our dogs, & clouds, among ther things. So we disconnected it. I just read about wireless alerts that go off with just vehicles, I cannot find one that is wired that has good reviews.
