hello,
problems again....my mcculloch timberbear starts and runs incredibly well, except when the starter rope breaks. it has broken 4 times now and is now to short to even consider starting the saw with.
the first time it broke i wasnt exactly sure how to put it back in but figured there was a large knot that kept it from pulling out of the circular peice it winds into. anyone know if this how it is hooked in or is there some more complex way? this saw is the same as a 610..
also, does anyone know where i can find a new string and or strings for this saw. i looked on ebay and found some but the guy only excepts paypal...which i dont have.
lastly and likely the solution to the proper way to install the rope does anyone know where i can print of a manual for this saw. i just looked online and specifically on ebay for an hour but didnt find any....
thanks again for the help
happy holidays
