Living room dilemma

Hello,
I have an empty space on my living room and my idea is to place a sectional, on the photos you can see the sofa I already have and I will place a TV in front of it, the secional will be next to it with the table and chairs that are with the sofa. I also attached a drawing of my idea. I would like to know if this is ok or should I go in another direction. All ideas will be highly appreciated.

You do have a lot of empty space, but you also do not have a proper dining area other than the two barstools at the kitchen pass through. Rather than adding a sectional, you might consider a small round table with seating for 4 closest to your kitchen and a living room/TV are beyond as shown in the inspiration photo. I would not add a sectional to all the existing furniture. Is the door in the second photo your entrance?

The dinning area is in another part of the apartment that´s why I want to use this whole space as livingroom.

Maybe a reading nook - club or slipper chair w/ ottoman (maybe one that opens to store magazines, etc.), a round side table for a different shape, a lamp and a few cure accessories could look sweer. I always imulate with what I have before I shop, helps with shapes and scale. A desk setup could work too.
