Sunlight is an enemy of hoses. I would purchase box hose dispenser.

This area is well shaded and I do not use the hose hanger. I'd love to just get rid of it, but do need a sturdy place to connect the water timer, filter, etx. The only actual hose is the one running from the hanger to the bib in the flower bed. That hanger takes up so much space and is ugly. I'd love to hide it or find an alternative.

I have no idea, but it seems like you're getting slow replies here. I would seek advice from an irrigation or hardware store, or ask a contractor, and maybe bring the picture with you.

I recommend a frost-proof hydrant and wall mount hose reel combo. A waterers dream.
